We love Pedrali! Today we will talk about a restaurant decorated with furniture from this Italian brand: this is the Pyrgos restaurant on the island of Santorini in Greece.
This restaurant was built on top of a hill, right in the center of the island, which still maintains the characteristics of the Venetian fortification. The village is located in the center of the highest point of the island, fortified by the Serenissima Republic of Venice in 1400 with a castle that can still be visited today. In such a historic and poetic location, the restaurant, founded in 1988, carries on a family tradition that has continued for almost 30 years. The design of the furnishings selected by Pedrali, resistant to all seasons and the sea breeze, capable of adapting even to the high temperatures of the Mediterranean, are among the parts of the recent stylistic and architectural renovation project of this historic location, under the supervision of the L11 – Katerina Vasileiadou Annette Bitouni Interior Design architecture studio.
The restaurant enjoys an excellent panoramic view of the island and it is also possible to admire the enchanting sunset. In the garden, which can accommodate from 80 to 150 people, chairs and armchairs from the Nolita collection, designed by Simone Mandelli and Antonio Pagliarulo, completely made of steel, increase self-esteem outdoors: proposed in the white version, perfectly integrated with the Greek landscape, they mix with the wooden chairs from the Nemea collection, designed by Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo and the Bold and Arki-Table tables, creating an ideal place to share good moments socializing with friends.
In the restaurant the details are thought out in detail to make the space more comfortable. Before the main course, guests can sip a cocktail or enjoy finger food in small, intimate lounges, created by the lively counters of the Nolita collection and the concrete tables designed by Pio and Tito Toso, whose sturdiness is guaranteed by the concrete base.

The Nolita collection is a family of outdoor seating that recalls the origins of a historical journey, started by Mario Pedrali in 1963 with his first metal garden chairs. The collection includes chair and armchair in two different heights, lounge armchair, sunbed, benches in two different heights, tables with three or four legs in two different heights.

The Nemea chair is a classic collection, whose visible and light structural elements seem smoothed over time, like discoveries from Ancient Greece. The chair appears to stretch into an athletic pose, with its sinuous solid ash legs grafted onto the die-cast aluminum frame beneath the plywood seat.
