MUUTO pieces – for the home
Implement a new trend in interior design with a new perspective on how hotels should present themselves, how guests feel and how they live there. The OKKO hotel chain wanted to create a modern and temporary «home», suitable for both work and leisure. For its new line of venues, OKKO has collaborated with the iconic designer Patrick Norguet and with the IN THE ARMY rethink the sensations a hotel should convey, using Muuto designs in the process.

O Designer – Patrick Norguet
Since he was a child he preferred drawing books to reading, filling them with drawings and sketches. For Norguet, design is first and foremost a happy encounter. What he loves to do with passion is exchanging ideas with producers, discovering their know-how. This designer does not follow trends but tries to give shape to products whose relevance and modernity stand the test of time: «A well-designed object, created through generous collaboration, is timeless.»
In addition to interior decoration, he works in industrial design and has created exhibitions for Van Cleef and Renaul.
He perfectly interprets Cappellini’s theory on the marriage of fashion and design with his own projects, designing pieces with an excellent presence in the corporate and private sector.
Patrick works to achieve innovation but with maximum simplicity.
New OKKO hotels

The new hotel from the OKKO luxury hotel chain, has no fewer than 149 rooms and nestles comfortably in a building designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, which includes tempered glass curtain walls. Okko Hotels are the ideal stopover for a business trip or an extended stay in the fashion capital.

Incredible as it may seem, Patrick Norguet never received any assignment when creating the hotel’s interior decoration. Instead, it was up to him to give shape to the interiors. As Norguet explains:
»It all started with a strong concept. We decided to remove all the traditional and somewhat outdated elements of the hotel stereotype and replace them with modern tools in the digital context; want to simplify and improve the customer experience. In the new hotel there is no check-in or check-out, there are no room keys and the minibar has been replaced by a bar where guests can enjoy drinks and food for free whenever they want. It all comes from the desire to make guests feel as if they were at home.»

In an age where we are bombarded with so many similar things, uniqueness is the main key for Patrick Norguet while drawing. This also suits OKKO, creating not only a space with a particular atmosphere but creating a unique space where people can relax and feel at peace.
At OKKO you will have 24/7 access to all the comforts you need to feel at home!
