Room apartment with modern interior design

The apartment has a useful surface area of 80 m2 and is designed for a young couple, Oana and Cosmin. They have a seven-year-old daughter and live with Carina’s great-grandparents. The design team started with a question they ask all clients at the beginning: «if the layout was a person, what kind of person would it be?». Oana and Cosmin said it interior design it would be a woman who dresses very relaxed, with a pair of jeans, a shirt, but who is also a bit non-conformist. These features were transferred to the interior design, made in one modern and fresh style, with industrial accentsmore nonconformist.

Layout of the living room

For the layout of the living room, Gavia Concept started from the idea of green plants. The beneficiary wanted to make an agreement with many plants, but she knew she would not be able to care for them. Therefore, the solution found by the architects was to paint them on the walls, to benefit from the presence of plants inside. These, together with the aquarium with colorful fish, invite nature inside and induce a state of calm and relaxation.

One of the owners’ favorite items in the living room is the painted armchair. Initially, an armchair was proposed that the owners really liked, from a chromatic point of view, but it was not comfortable enough. Therefore, a comfortable armchair was purchased, a painting was created in the desired color range, it was printed on canvas and, subsequently, the desired armchair was upholstered.

In living areathe wall with the TV stands out, on which three miniature chests of drawers have been positioned. They bring a creative and cheerful note to the space. From a chromatic point of view, many shades of white and blue were chosen. They create a serene and comfortable atmosphere in this modern interior design.

Kitchen design

White is also found kitchen layoutwhere the painting with green plants was taken. A modern and minimalist kitchen cabinet was proposed, with glossy painted MDF fronts, which would reflect light and improve the impression of space. Hexagonal-shaped tiles were chosen for the wall between the furniture, which give dynamism to the composition. The result is one Scandinavian interior design, with industrial accentspresent both in the metal of the chairs and in the lighting system, created by Cosmin, DIY (Do It Yourself).

To organize the child’s bedroom, Gavia Concept started from thematic Frozenone of Disney’s most beloved children’s films. Disney style camera it seems truly detached from the Ice Kingdom: all the furniture was custom-made, with shapes inspired by the ice palace with the luminous towers.

All the details of the arrangement have a Frozen theme: the chandelier is shaped like an ice flake, the chandelier above the desk is inspired by the shape of icicles, and the desk chair appears to be cut out of ice. On the left wall there is a window onto the world of the characters of the Frozen Kingdom: Elsa, Anna, Hans and Sven. It is a very successful arrangement for a girl’s room!

Master bedroom layout

The double bedroom is furnished in Scandinavian style and the accent in the furnishings falls on the wall behind the bed. The lighting fixtures above the bedside table complete the inspired atmosphere of relaxation and warmth, necessary in a sleeping area.

The apartment is equipped with two bathrooms, furnished in Scandinavian stylewith lots of white and industrial accents.

The master bathroom uses a minimalist interior design, white is an ideal choice in a small bathroom. A container niche has been created in the sink area, covered with a mirror. This has the role of enlarging the space and reflecting the paintings on the wall, created by Madonia Art.

The space is energized by geometric games: the white Metro-style tiles Scale White by Kerama Marazzi alternate with the hexagonal Twist White tiles by Delta Studio. It is the same tile used for the kitchen covering. Even though the bathroom is small, the freestanding bathtub has been integrated very successfully.

In the second health group the same idea was used: white and geometric games. And here, hexagon-shaped ceramic tiles were used, one of the interior design trends of the moment. The white bathroom is brightened up by the joben-shaped lamp, positioned above the freestanding Rondo washbasin by Dalet.

The beneficiaries are extremely satisfied with this modern interior design, which describes their lifestyle and way of being very well.
